Movie to be Based on Jamie Lee's Life Story

- Confirming rumors that have been circulating for months, Vagabond Pictures announced today that it has optioned the life story of Vermont native Jamie Lee Thurston and that a feature film is in the early stages of pre-production.

"Jamie Lee's story is the quintessential won't-be-denied quest for his dream, which is really the American dream," said producer and screenwriter Tim Rhys, the founding publisher of MovieMaker Magazine (www.moviemaker.com) and a principle in Vagabond Pictures, a production company. "The movie, for which a screenplay has already been completed and vetted by some of the top talent in Hollywood, will be an honest portrayal of the struggle to make it from Vermont to Nashville, and then from Nashville to an even larger stage."
